Chicago's soul-rock band, The Jordan Years release “You Oughta Know” video and single to bid farewell to their beloved recording studio and welcome new bandmates.
From the beginning, The Jordan Years have written, rehearsed, recorded, partied, and practically lived at West Town Recording, their smokey, subterranean studio in Chicago’s Humboldt Park neighborhood. After learning that they'd soon be losing their lease, The band made plans to assemble for one final jam session at their beloved clubhouse. From that last session, their single “You Oughta Know.” was born.
In the accompanying video, director Chad Wilson combines in-studio footage of the band with a visual narrative that portrays the clash between his pursuit of artistic success and her dreams of stability. With the video, The Jordan Years close the door on one chapter of their story and introduce the next.
After a seemingly impossible search for the perfect players, The Jordan Years' core members, Wes Restless (vocals), Roger Panella (guitar), and Mike Andersen (bass) welcome new members, Lance Loiselle (keyboards) and Michael August (drums) to the group.
With age comes sophistication. Of one's mind, of one's style, of one's palate. This ad features the always great Jet Eveleth and the luscious voice of Adam Burke. Produced and edited by Chad Wilson. Shot by Steve Delahoyde.

His methods are somewhat unusual. I may need a gun permit and a pre-cut avocado. But his sincerity, his fit 6’5” frame, his expert bobbing and weaving … Hey, wait a minute. Who is this guy?
